Refocus Programme

Our Refocus Intervention Programme  is based at the Herald Curriculum Centre

Designed for students requiring short-term intervention, our Refocus Programme helps re-engage learners and address the barriers preventing them from thriving in education. Students attend the programme four days per week while maintaining a link with their home school one day a week, ensuring a smooth and supported transition back into mainstream education.

Key features include:

• A rigorous 360° assessment to identify needs and create a personalised plan
• Regular reviews to track progress and refine strategies
• Access to core subjects, SEMH group lessons, and introductory vocational learning (e.g., food technology, hair, and construction)
• Collaboration with external specialists when needed to provide additional support to ensure positive progress

This pathway empowers students to overcome challenges, regain confidence, and build the foundation for long-term success.
